Although Rumo is next to Zengyan house, it's a rare quiet place. He has a good night's sleep and wakes up naturally. He has breakfast in the B & B before going out. The first stop is to Nanputuo, a thousand year old temple. It costs about 10 yuan to take a taxi from zengcuolong to Nanputuo. There are also many buses. It takes about 5 minutes to take the bus to Xiada Xicun Station and walk to Nanputuo.

Nan Putuo

Nanputuo, named after the south side of Putuo temple, was built in the late Tang Dynasty and called Sizhou temple. It was renamed Puzhao temple in the reign of song Zhiping. In the early Ming Dynasty, the temple was deserted and was not rebuilt until the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. When you come to Nanputuo, you must not miss the Qianlong stele on the left after entering the mountain gate. It's a separate space, and it's easy to forget its existence.

At the back of the hall, there is Bodhisattva Weituo standing with his hands on the pestle, which is extremely powerful.

The main hall is the center of the whole temple, which has the characteristics of the typical southern Fujian Buddhist hall. In the center of the main hall, there is a tall statue of the third Buddha, and in the back of the hall, there are three Western saints. The side hall is dedicated to 18 Arhats.

Dabei hall is a unique building with octagonal triple cornices, each of which is exquisitely designed. Guanyin Bodhisattva is worshipped in the center of the hall, and the other sides are 48 arm Guanyin, with beautiful shapes and various postures.

Finally, there is the Sutra Pavilion, which is a double-layer Pavilion. It is not open now. You can have a long-distance view.

There are also many cliff carvings and wishing pools behind the mountain. People with good physical strength can also climb to Wulaofeng, or enjoy the scenery of Xiamen at the viewing platform in the middle of the mountain.

Dingao Cat Street
